GPR82 Receptor Antibodies
GPR82 (G Protein-Coupled Receptor 82) is an orphan GPCR with no confirmed endogenous ligand and limited functional characterization. It belongs to the class A family of GPCRs and is conserved across several species, suggesting potential biological relevance. GPR82 is expressed in various tissues, with notable levels in the brain, heart, kidneys, and testis. Some studies have also detected its expression in adipose tissue, indicating a possible role in metabolic regulation. GPR82 is not currently a major focus of drug development, but genetic studies have linked it to metabolic traits, including body mass index and lipid metabolism. While it is not yet considered an established pharmacological target, its potential role in energy balance and metabolic disorders warrants further investigation.
